Melissa Carter Appointed as Elite Group Compliance Manager

 

 

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Melissa Carter as our Compliance Manager. Melissa has worked with Elite for almost seven years as our Compliance Officer and has played an integral role in ensuring the business meets our legal requirements and all processes conform to regulations, including our ISO accreditations. We’re so proud of our ISO accreditations as they demonstrate that our business is working in a secure and efficient way to provide the best possible experience for our customers and Melissa’s knowledge, experience and involvement in audits has been vital in our success in maintaining these accreditations.

 

Melissa’s Key Responsibilities as Elite Groups Compliance Manager

 

Working with our Compliance Team, it’s Melissa’s job as Compliance Manager to orchestrate and manage a range of projects that help us to achieve our objectives, namely:

 

• Eliminating non-conformances in our processes to adhere to objectives within our ISO accreditations.
• Conducting regular audits throughout the business.
• Ensuring staff complete relevant e-learning courses on security and health and safety.
• Involvement in client audits to ensure we’re delivering on customer expectations regarding security and the efficiency of our processes.

 

Alongside maintaining our existing ISO 9001, 27001, 22301, 45001 accreditations, Melissa is also responsible for identifying additional accreditations that will benefit the business and our customers. Once identified, it’s the Compliance Manager’s responsibility to design and update internal processes and procedures in all departments to ensure that we are meeting our regulatory requirements to achieve these accreditations. Melissa also undertakes internal audits to ensure we are always putting our best foot forward, working efficiently and securely to serve our customers effectively.

Melissa’s depth of knowledge and years of experience greatly benefits Elite Group, our processes and our services. As an accredited Lead Auditor for ISO9001 and an accredited Internal Auditor for ISO27001, 22301, 45001 and 14001, she ensures that the entire team is aware of what is expected for these accreditation and that we are constantly adhering to these expectations. With over 10 years’ experience in designing and implementing management systems for a wide range of ISO accreditations, we can be confident that the processes we have in place are compliant with those accreditations.
