The aim of our apprenticeships is to provide as many opportunities for talented, hard-working individuals to start their dream career in technology. We look for passion, dedication and a real desire to work within the industry and all of these qualities were found within our Internal IT Service Engineer, Adeeb Zia, when he applied to join Team Elite.

Taking the First Steps into a Career in Technology

Before interviewing for a position with us, Adeeb had spent a few months interviewing for other IT jobs. However, his level of experience was the only thing that was holding him back from gaining a position within the industry. When he interviewed for us, his drive, enthusiasm, unrivalled mindset and desire to achieve, outweighed the lack of experience and he left a lasting impression with our team. We believe that experience can be gained, but passion is something that can’t be learned and is far more valuable and it was this belief that, ultimately, encouraged us to offer him the role.

When starting at Elite, Adeeb embarked upon a Level 3 IT Infrastructure Technician Apprenticeship. This qualification consisted of technical training modules that provided a strong understanding of IT concepts, including Microsoft mobility & devices fundamentals, Microsoft Azure fundamentals and Microsoft server fundamentals. He worked diligently to complete all projects and tasks for this qualification, alongside completing his day-to-day duties for the company, to gain invaluable knowledge, as well as industry experience and a range of skills specific to his role.

Fuelling the Future of Tech with Elite Group Apprenticeships

As an Internal IT Service Engineer, Adeeb plays a vital role in ensuring our IT systems are operating optimally, through installing and configuring computer systems, diagnosing hardware and software faults and fixing issues, such as slow performance, user access and connection problems. Over the last year he has become a valued and greatly appreciated member of our team, due to his willingness to help, cheery personality and incredible knowledge.

Speaking about his qualification, Adeeb said:
