The SDR function is a critical part of the Elite sales journey, handling inbound calls, website inquiries, campaign-driven leads, and outbound calls to prospects in order to generate quality leads for the Inside Sales and Sales Consultancy teams.

You will work closely with the Campaign Manager and Marketing teams to quickly follow up on interactions, always demonstrating a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism. You must be passionate about providing excellent service and go the extra mile to engage with all leads and campaigns.

Skills and experience we are looking for include at least 12 months of cold-calling experience and enjoying the challenge of building new relationships, along with exploring different avenues to build relationships, including video prospecting via LinkedIn.

There is no requirement for closing sales; your strength will lie in positively representing Elite Group and its capabilities to customers and prospects in order to secure qualified appointments.

We operate a structured hybrid working scheme to support our employees in their work-life balance.
Office working days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Tuesdays and Thursdays are working from
home days. Employees who live more than 40 miles away from a Company office are usually home
workers, with agreed office attendance at least once a month

Activities

  • Making and receiving an average of 100 calls per day as part of various campaign activities.
  • Nurturing cold prospects, identifying their needs and demonstrating how Elite can provide solutions to meet those needs.
  • Managing and maintaining a pipeline of prospects, moving them through the sales funnel to create warm, qualified leads for the Inside Sales and Sales Consultancy teams.
  • Managing multiple campaigns simultaneously, staying organised to maximise effectiveness.
  • Proactively seeking new business opportunities in the market to expand the customer base, cold calling and emailing to generate new sales opportunities.
  • Arranging meetings or calls between prospective customers and Sales Consultants.
  • Reporting to the Sales Manager with weekly, monthly, and quarterly results to track progress and performance.
  • Providing feedback to the Sales Manager and Campaign Manager on leads received, collaborating to improve campaign effectiveness and generate fresh ideas.

Essential Competencies

  • Previous experience within a lead generation role and working towards KPIs successfully and closing deals.
  • Telecoms experience in a similar role.
  • A desire to work in a KPI and target-driven environment, with a strong focus on performance.
  • Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
  • Prioritisation and negotiation skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and customer needs.
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to handle challenges and provide resolutions.
  • Organised with strong time management skills, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
  • Computer literate, with knowledge of email systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
  • Ability to work from the Chorley office 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with the flexibility to work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

Desirable

  • Telecoms knowledge.
  • Experience in using CRMs/computer systems.
