Salary: £35,000 per annum plus commission paid monthly
We are looking for a highly driven Inside Sales Executive to join our dynamic sales team and support the business in increasing revenue and product penetration within the Elite customer base.
You will be expected to directly cross-sell strategic products into the general base (typically smaller businesses with up to 50 employees) by making outbound calls and adding incremental value through the sales you make. You will also receive inbound leads from the SDR team once you are carrying a full target.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, have experience in the telecoms industry, and be ready to take on a new and rewarding challenge!
This is a fast-paced environment, and the expectation is that you hit the ground running once induction is completed. You will receive regular coaching and support to develop your skills, along with a personal development plan to help you achieve your career objectives.
We operate a structured hybrid working scheme to support our employees in their work
life balance. Office working days are Monday, Wednesday and Friday and Tuesdays and
Thursdays are working from home days. Employees who live more than 40 miles away
from a Company office are usually home workers, with agreed office attendance at least
once a month.
Activities
- Achieving monthly sales targets by proactively engaging with existing customers and new leads, primarily through daily telephone outreach.
- Working closely with other teams and departments to achieve shared objectives and drive business growth.
- Confidently pitching new products and services to the customer base, aiming to close deals efficiently over the phone.
- Providing accurate sales forecasts to your manager as needed, ensuring timely and reliable reporting.
- Taking ownership of problem resolution, striving to resolve issues independently before escalating, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Collaborating with marketing to create and execute impactful sales campaigns.
- Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of products and services to ensure informed customer interactions and accurate sales pitches.
- Using the CRM system to track and record all sales interactions, ensuring data accuracy and effective follow-up.
- Responding to incoming inquiries (email and phone) promptly, maintaining high standards of professionalism and efficiency within set timeframes.
Essential Competencies
- Previous experience in a telesales role, consistently working towards KPIs and successfully closing deals.
- Telecoms experience in a similar role.
- A desire to work in a KPI and target-driven environment, with a strong focus on performance.
- Excellent communication skills, including face-to-face, telephone, and email interactions.
- Prioritisation and negotiation skills to effectively manage multiple tasks and customer needs.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills to handle challenges and provide resolutions.
- Organised with strong time management skills, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
- Computer literate, with knowledge of email systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
- Ability to work from the Chorley office 3 days a week (Monday, Wednesday, and Friday), with the flexibility to work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays.
Desirable Competencies
- Zoom Sales experience.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow or similar CRM system.
- Understanding of connectivity/networks.
